1. Car rental companies can and will offer you Premium Insurance, whereby you are free from any payment in the event of an accident, whether it is your fault or the other traffic participants.The cost of this can reach up to 20 Euro /day and above. Furthermore it could be a standart mandatory fee and you will not be able to rent the vehicle without purchasing it.
2. The insistence of the rental agents on the deposit. These usually avoid specifying that you can go quietly with the rented car by purchasing a Premium Insurance and to avoid unjustified transaction from your card (between 1000 - 1500 Euro).
3. Confirmation by e-mail of your reservation, where the final amount for the car rental is specified, including the selected type of insurance and guarantee, but also the services included in the price.
Following this confirmation, the rental company commits itself to respect the reservation, and if it cannot be honored, inform the client immediately, by telephone or by e-mail.
4. When taking over the car, together with the rental agent, check the car, and if there are parts of the vehicle hit or scratched, pass them on the delivery-receipt report. Be persistent and ask the agent to mark any of the remarks you notice, even the smallest ones.
